The basic and principle is the same as long. What ever I did had broken the configuration for the mac side. I dont think its a problem you are using WAMP and I am asking for a tutorial for AMPPS. Clearing the cookies also signs you out from all logged-in websites. Note that clearing the cache may cause the next visit to the website to take a long time as your browser will ask for all the site files again. I was ecstatic until I tried to run from the Mac side. Clearing browser cache and cookies should resolve this issue. Last night I tried configuring everything manually and got my site to come up one time in Windows. ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "/Users//Sites/wordpress.ms/cgi-bin/"ĭocumentRoot "/Users//Sites/wordpress.ms"ĮrrorLog "/Applications/AMPPS/apache/logs/wordpress.ms.err"ĬustomLog "/Applications/AMPPS/apache/logs/wordpress.ms.log" combined Section from nf ( I removed the empty lines) The nf file is a direct copy of the nf file that worked fine from my MacBook Pro. I updated nf (from within the apache tab) to include a nf file. I have updated my hosts file in windows machine (running on VMWare) and on My Mac. I would like to be able to run the same sites from Windows 7 running in VMWare - to see what the sites would look like in ie.
It seems to work fine as long as I connect from my Mac. So I went ahead and removed my-vhosts file, and had the control panel write the vhosts file, as you suggested. I have installed wordpress multisite in my own directory /Users//Sites/wordpress. The 2 ampps folders stem from the first install.
I am running AMPPS Verstion 4.4.5 in Mac OS X 10.9.2. I hope I am putting this post in the correct place.
